Non-profit Status
The Baltimore Women’s Classic is a 501(c) 3 public charity. Our Federal ID number is 20-5940422. This means that all pledges, sponsorships and donations made to the BWC are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Monies raised from this race and other events can be disbursed directly to various groups in town supporting women undergoing gynecological cancer treatment and other health-related issues.
Board of Directors — Officers
Tom Amatucci, Executive Director
Tom Amatucci is Executive Director of the Baltimore Women's Classic, as well as the original founder of the organization having applied for IRS non-profit status in 2007. He has been a driving force in the growth of the annual BWC 5K road race since 2003. Tom returned to running in 2001 and since has run nine marathons and numerous other running events of varying distances. After a career in the Global Supply Chain & Logistics arena he currently is employed by Right Managemant as a career consultant.

Laurie Amatucci, Vice Chairman
Laurie Amatucci, the Vice-President of Baltimore Women's Classic, Inc,, has served on the BWC board since its inception. A native of Baltimore County, she has also served as Co-Chair of the Baltimore Women's Classic 5K since 2003. In addition to her BWC duties, Laurie is employed in the international transportation field and presently serves as Key Account Manager for Priority Worldwide Services, an international logistics provider.

Melissa Glover, Secretary
Melissa Glover is the Secretary and a board member of Baltimore Women’s Classic, Inc. She is a corporate transactional attorney at a law firm in Baltimore, Maryland. She is an honors graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law and the University of Chicago, with a degree in Economics.
Bill Hodgetts, Treasurer
Bill Hodgetts is the Assistant Head of School for Operations and Finance at Garrison Forest School. He has worked there for more than 20 years and his responsibilities include the financial and operational management of the school. Bill has been involved with the BWC 5K road race for four years and has been on the non-profit since its inception in 2007. Bill is an active runner and competes regularly in running events from 5Ks to marathons.

Robert Donegan, M.D.
Dr. Robert Donegan is a medical oncologist with a particular interest in caring for women diagnosed with breast cancer. For the past eight years, he has been in practice at the Sandra and Malcolm Berman Cancer Institute at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center, home to the largest community-based cancer program in the state of Maryland. A native of Ireland, he was raised in Columbia, Md., and attended medical school at the University of Maryland. Dr. Donegan completed his residency and fellowship at the Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas while serving honorably in the United States Air Force.

Monica Aggarwal, MD
Cardiologist, Howard County
Dr. Aggarwal is a preventative, non-invasive cardiologist with a practice in Howard County, Maryland. She is the founder of RESIST INERTIA, Inc. The goal of the organization is to highlight the obesity crisis and focus on behavioral changes that promote heart health and minimize risk factors.
