Maryland Charity Campaign

Designate the BWC as your charity in the 2010 Maryland Charity Campaign. The BWC will be on of the 700 charities eligible for support during the 2011 Maryland Charity Campaign. If you are a Maryland state employee or retiree, take advantage of this easy way to help fund services to improve the quality of life for patients and their families living with ovarian and gynecological cancer. If you do not qualify but know someone who does, please share this information with them.

The Maryland Charity Campaign is an annual campaign running from September through November, with payroll deduction commencing in January. When you receive your pledge card, enter The Baltimore Women's Classic agency code, (coming this winter), and the amount you wish to contribute as a lump sum or have deducted from your payroll throughout the year.

In-Kind Contributions

If you have goods and services you would like to donate, please contact the BWC at 443-928-8007 or email Tom Amatucci.

Thank you for your kind gift!

The Baltimore Women's Classic is a 501(c)(3) public charity. Our Federal ID number is 20-5940422. All pledges, sponsorships and donations made to the BWC are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

I support the BWC for many reasons. I support it for family reasons. We all gather at my house in Gambrills, Md., and have a wonderful weekend of family togetherness, swimming, partying and of course volunteering and participating at the Baltimore Women’s Classic. I support the BWC for women’s health awareness and fitness. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle and healthy weight greatly lowers a woman’s chance of developing many cancers. I support it for my daughter, for her own health, fitness and cancer awareness. Since my ovarian cancer is a family heredity issue, I am obviously concerned for her future. Raising awareness and funds for programs will help in the fight against this “silent killer” so maybe my daughter won’t have to face what I and many aunts did. Read more of Lori's story
