TAKE THE ELITE CHALLENGE - Raise $1,000 during 2012 and be part of the BWC ELITE TEAM!
This year the BWC is offering three opportunities for you to obtain ELITE status!-
In addition for fundraising for the Baltimore Women's Classic 5K, you can also join our charity teams at the Frederick Running Festival in May and the Baltimore Running Festival in October.
Elite team members receive the regular BWC team benefits for each of the events that they run, but once they obtain ELITE status they receive:
-2012 BWC ELITE TEAM Jacket to wear with pride throughout the year
- Special "ELITE" perks at each event
- Named Donation: 100% of the funds you raise will be donated in your name or your named
honoree to the hospital/organization of your choice within the BWC Partner network.
What a wonderful way to honor a loved one!!
- Your invitation to the fabulous ELITE TEAM end of year cocktail party to celebrate your accomplishments with your fellow team members!!
HERE'S HOW TO GET STARTED...
-FREDERICK RUNNING FESTIVAL - FUNDRAISING GOAL: $250
Join our charity team at the Frederick Running Festival May 5th and 6th.
The events offered at DoFrederick are a Twilight 5K on Saturday, May 5th at 6:00 pm as well as a
half marathon and 2-person half marathon relay on Sunday, May 6th at 7:00 am.
We will register you for the event of your choice and cover your entry fee. You commit to raise $250
by April 22nd to be part of the team and receive a cool team shirt, secure bag check, and breakfast
and snacks at the team tent.
After registering for our team, you will be directed to the site to set up your personal fundraising page.
Fill out your information, send emails to your friends and family, and you will be AMAZED at how
easily you can meet your fundraising goal!!
You CAN join our Frederick team without committing to run any other events or achieving ELITE
status, But why not go for broke and raise your $1,000 goal at Frederick??
**If you raise $1,000 by the Frederick deadline, you are automatically an ELITE TEAM member and
will receive ELITE TEAM benefits not only for this event, but for the BWC 5K and the Baltimore
Running Festival!!
- THE BALTIMORE WOMEN'S CLASSIC 5K - FUNDRAISING GOAL: $500
Raise $500 by June 4th to receive your special "BWC 5K TEAM" shirt.
GUYS: Don't be left out!! We have a special shirt for you, too! You do not have to be registered for
the race to set up your fundraising page!!
**Anyone who hits the $1,000 mark by the June 4th deadline (that includes your Frederick and BWC
totals) will receive the ELITE team benefits for this event AND the Baltimore Running Festival!
-THE BALTIMORE RUNNING FESTIVAL - FUNDRAISING GOAL: $250
The Baltimore Running Festival on October 13th offers a full marathon, 4-person marathon relay
team, a half-marathon and a 5K.
fee. You commit to raise $250 by October 1st to be part of the team and receive (yet another!) great
team shirt, as well as secure bag check, breakfast, snacks and a box lunch at our team tent in the
Celebration Village along with the camaraderie of your fellow teammates.
**If you make your $1,000 goal by October 1st - you made it!!! You will qualify for the ELITE team
perks at the Running Festival, have a great time at the team party and wear your 2012 ELITE
TEAM jacket with pride!!
