BWC Training Program Is Open For Registration

BWC is thrilled to announce that our women's training program is open for registration and excited about our two new locations for 2012:

Mergenthaler VoTech track in Baltimore City and
Honeygo Park in White Marsh!

These new locations join our training sites in Catonsville, Ellicott City, Towson and Westminster.

About the BWC

The Baltimore Women's Classic is dedicated to promoting fitness and healthy living among all women while increasing awareness of women's health issues. Our guiding principle is the belief that athletic accomplishments are measured by healthy attitudes and by each woman reaching her own personal goals; not only by the quickest runners and winning race times. The race promotes a healthy spirit in our community where runners, volunteers and race organizers help women of all ages and abilities take strong steps toward a healthier lifestyle.

We help improve the quality of daily for families engaged in gynecologic cancer treatment by providing services, such as transportation, grocery shopping, meal preparation, house cleaning and prescription drug co-payment.

Kathrine Switzer Comes to Baltimore!

Kathrine is the first WOMAN to enter and complete the BOSTON marathon. She'll be stopping in Baltimore for the BWC weekend to help YOU celebrate women's running. On Friday June 22nd, come meet Kathrine at the BWC fundraisering dinner.
